The Baptist Health – Hamburg campus in Lexington, Kentucky features a modern exterior built with more than 6,000 custom-fabricated ALUCOBOND® 4mm aluminum composite panels in Silver Metallic. SHApe Architectural Products fabricated the panel system to support the project’s clean architectural aesthetic while meeting the precision required for a large, multi-faceted healthcare facility.

Covering the building’s exterior walls, eyebrow panels, curtainwall surrounds, thin-brick veneer transitions, attached and detached canopies, and interior vestibule finishes, each panel was manufactured to maintain consistent dimensions, clean edges, and precise alignment throughout the installation.

Spanning 170,000 square feet, the new campus was designed to provide expanded healthcare services for the Lexington community. The extensive use of aluminum composite panels creates a cohesive architectural expression while accommodating the complex transitions and detailing required across multiple facade conditions.
